Stylish accessories for cellphones, keys and bags are my newest fascination.  These cute little stuffs just get my weekend very fun.  “Trip lang gud.”  This started  out last year during Christmas of 2009 when I decided to make key chains for my friends and relatives for simple yet personalized gifts. 

It was fun doing them.  Then a friend of mine saw it and got her other friends buy for gift giving also until it became a small business.  I loved doing the designs while she loved to market them.  Such a perfect match.    Since then, it became a hobby for me.  A cool leisure activity after i do my office work.

It’s another season of gift giving.  Many of us get stressed, but we should keep it in mind that giving gifts should be fun, though having a little or no money could be difficult.  Here are some few smart ideas that we may consider because having less or no money don’t mean you can’t give wonderful presents.

ARTS AND CRAFTS

If you are artistically inclined, you can do some stuffs made out of pictures and messages on them for your friends and family.  It’s worth keeping for the years to come.  There are also available personalized items which you can buy at very affordable prices.

• Personalized Mugs – I have used a mug wherein you can insert your printed pictures on them.  It’s pretty cute and very usable.

• Scrapbook – express your deepest thoughts and feelings for someone through scraps mounted on a board.

• Mini Photo Collection – you can personalize and create your own mini-album with artistic touch

• Bead works – you can personally make bracelets, necklace and earrings for your girl friends.

• Personalized towels – you can have it printed with name of your friends or group.

BAKING

If you are good at baking, you are on your way so much to giving heart-felt baking stuffs.  You may have them placed on a container with ribbons on them.

• Cookies on a jar – it may sound simple but there are a lot of people who love home-baked cookies most especially if they are placed on decorative or unique containers.

• Mini Cakes on Christmas printed boxes – same with cookies, you may have mini cakes as an option

There are countless ideas that you may have for this season.  They may not be too cozy but what is important is the thought of giving.  I, personally, if given a personalized item, I would be overjoyed.  Because its not just the gift that you received, but the person who imparted himself to making something for us to keep.
