It was a rare opportunity that I was given a chance by my company to be trained in Makati City, Philippines. I was excited for the following reasons: I could go to some other place for learning and to improve my skills on Magic programming; I could explore some other place and lastly, I could ride an airplane for the first time.

Now let’s go into details with my flight.

It was my first time to ride an airplane! I was so excited and all the while, I kept on believing that it would be a great experience, but not until something happend when I returned back. I booked for a round trip ticket from Cebu to Manila and vice versa. Everything went on smoothly when I went to Manila and my stay there was great. But when I went back to Cebu, I lost one of my baggage in transit. I just found it out when I was the only one standing in front of the baggage conveyor waiting for my last bag to be unloaded. Then, one of the staff of the airline went on to me and asked if I still have a baggage which is unclaimed and obviously, I did realize that its already missing. She told me of the possibility that my bag could be on the next flight which will arrive about an hour. I wondered how it could happen when I checked in my baggage about 2 hours before the flight. She asked me to fill up a form reporting the missing bag, my contact no. and address. She assured me that it will be delivered right to our house for free.

Realizing what is happening, I felt so disappointed. I wasn’t expecting that this could happen. It brought me distress thoughts. And the saddest thing i that its already been 4 days since it happend and until now, my bag is still nowhere to be found. The airline’s in-charge for lost and unclaimed baggages keeps on updating me of the status of my problem, but still I get the same answer, “It’s negative”, which means that it is still missing.

I’m not sure of what should be the management’s action on this. But I just see one big lapse on the security and their procedures. Bags were not checked if passengers get their correct baggages while going out of the departure area. If they only practice the checking or matching of the claim stubs and stickers, this could be less likely to happen. Although I appreciate the effort of the one working on with my lost baggage, but the thing is, management should have implemented security to make sure that this won’t happen to their passengers. If they really value us, they should also value our belongings while checked in and turn-over to their custody. If this keeps on happening without an action, then I won’t ever ride on it again. ITS UNSECURED!

After 7 days and if it is still missing, they will declare it as lost luggage and another sad thing is that, the airline will only pay us 100 pesos/kilo irregardless of the value of the things inside which obviously doesn’t compensate the real value of what u just lost.

Hope you guys reading this will be more cautious of your things while traveling. If you choose Cebu Pacific as your airline, then just pray that this will not happen to you. It’s a lot hassle being a victim.

If you have the same experience or have any advise on what I could do witht this, feel free to leave your comments.

You could have a research of the same cases with Cebu Pacific.

I just love how she smiles and yawns. For sure she will be filled with love and care from all of us. She’s an angel we long have waited for.

Everyone in the house were just so excited to see this little girl before she came out and finally, she’s here. Her mother gave her a normal delivery in the barangay health center and luckily, I saw her from the time she had labor and until she was about to give birth. Indeed, I have observed how painful it is trying all her best and giving all her strength to push out the baby from her womb. Mothers are really heroes and they deserve all the love and care from their children. Just as this little angel, on her tiny simple smiles and facial expressions, she could make everyone around her smile and feel her love to us, and most especially, the emotional bonding between her and her mother is beginning to nourish.

and now she’s smiling.

When I went home, I saw my younger friends who had tattooed themselves then I tried it and here is my work. It’s really fun doing it. This is the work of an amateur tattoo artist.

For me, being happy in a relationship keeps the fire alive for us to keep each other and last long. But how can we keep the happiness that we need? Here are some tips on how we can maintain the glowing magic that lovers share together.

1. Communicate. Never hesitate to speak your mind if you appreciate something what your partner just did, or even when you are upset. Our partners are not mind readers.

2. Spend some time together. Even when you are away, you could always have some time to check on your partner through a text message or a call before you start or at the end of the day. Set at least once a week that you go together or it depends on what schedules that allows you both and do something that you both enjoy. You don’t have to spend that much to enjoy each other.

3. Don’t compare to previous relationships. Never every compare your present relationship with the past. Just enjoy what you have today and make the most out of each other. Every person is different, and being yourselves could help you both bring out the best in you and how your relationship will build up.

4. Let go of the past misunderstandings. If you went through disaggreements, let it go when you have forgiven each other. Don’t bring it back, because when you do, you will never grow. What is important is that you learn from what went wrong and do the best that you can not to let it happen again. That’s one way that your relationship will grow and be happy to where it leads you.

5. Don’t take each other for granted. Most of us are guilty of this. Because when we almost get used to being with our partners, we tend to forget the magic and the thrill of being together. If you feel like it is happening, think of what your life could be without him/her. Do something new to keep it fun being together.

6. Trust. Most of the reason that you can’t be happy with your partner is when you tend to question your partner. If you trust your partner, you will have peace of mind and all you need to think of is that you are happy with him/her.

There are still numerous ways to keep our relationship happy. Hope you could also share your thoughts here.

I have asked some of my friends of what does happiness in a relationship means to them, and here are their thoughts:

contented & satisfy , with happy hearts & dnt 4get to ask always the guidance of the LORD coz HE knows us everything on what ever we do & wherever we go – gemma

hapiness in relationship means when you are contented and satisfied with it like you can’t ask for anything more… – marife

happiness in relationship is waking up in the morning, naked – melvin

As the saying goes, “The manner of giving is worth more than the gift” ~Pierre Corneille, Le Menteur.

This Christmas, let us share our blessings to those whom we have touched our lives. Simple things would mean so much so long as it comes from the heart. Key chain is my choice for this year’s holiday season. I made the designs and so glad to have make them look so cute for keepsakes. It has name tagged on the chain to make it more personalized. The box decorated with green and red ribbons which encased them makes them look perfect for gift giving.

This is is a case of mind over medicine. In a study of 122 people who had high blood pressure despite taking two or more drugs, those who practiced the relaxation response (RR) for 20 minutes a day for eight weeks were over four times more likely to get off one of their medications than a comparable group who received only health counseling.

RR consists of focusing on a word, sound, or prayer to help the body enter a resting state with lower heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure. What was string about this research was that participants all had elevated systolic pressure (the upper number), “which is often hard to get under control,” notes study leader Randal Zusman, M.D., of Massachussets General Hospital Heart Center. “I was very skeptical going in – but the outcome was impressinve,” he says, adding that the response is “inexpensive, effective, and free of side effects.”

It’s another season of gift giving. Many of us get stressed, but we should keep it in mind that giving gifts should be fun, though having a little or no money could be difficult. Here are some few smart ideas that we may consider because having less or no money don’t mean you can’t give wonderful presents.

ARTS AND CRAFTS

If you are artistically inclined, you can do some stuffs made out of pictures and messages on them for your friends and family. It’s worth keeping for the years to come. There are also available personalized items which you can buy at very affordable prices.

Personalized Mugs – I have used a mug wherein you can insert your printed pictures on them. It’s pretty cute and very usable.

Scrapbook – express your deepest thoughts and feelings for someone through scraps mounted on a board.

Mini Photo Collection – you can personalize and create your own mini-album with artistic touch

Bead works – you can personally make bracelets, necklace and earrings for your girl friends.

Personalized towels – you can have it printed with name of your friends or group.

Candle Making

BAKING

If you are good at baking, you are on your way so much to giving heart-felt baking stuffs. You may have them placed on a container with ribbons on them.

Cookies on a jar – it may sound simple but there are a lot of people who love home-baked cookies most especially if they are placed on decorative or unique containers.

Mini Cakes on Christmas printed boxes – same with cookies, you may have mini cakes as an option

There are countless ideas that you may have for this season. They may not be too cozy but what is important is the thought of giving. I, personally, if given a personalized item, I would be overjoyed. Because its not just the gift that you received, but the person who imparted himself to making something for us to keep.
